I think its amazing that the Hulk is even still in F1. Never been on the podium, never won a race.. Always pretty mediocre overall... Yet Botas (10 wins) and Ricciardo (8 wins) have been cut.. This sport is just crazy.08-11-2024 04:46

Its called "gardening leave". Newey knows what the RB 2025 car will be, but not the 2026. So I would suggest leaving 2024, include 8-12 months gardening leave in there, and start on the 2026 car (with other team) late 2025. Teams always protect their interests when it comes to car design. The other concern that I have is how much IP does Newey have at RB??? Can't imagine what that would be worth26-04-2024 04:58

Not entirely true - Alpine had arranged for Piastri to go to Williams until Alonso or Ocon left. He would have had a drive for 2023. But I guess he didn't want to waste a year at Williams, and wanted to boot DR out of Mclaren. Pretty nasty thing to do to DR, so I hope the Aussie back stabber Piastri lands hard in the Mclaren and gets comprehensively flogged by all the back markers09-08-2022 03:15

Mclaren and Piastri seem to be a perfect suit for each other. I really hope Mclaren have to pay DR out of 2023, and DR goes to Alpine and comprehensively wipes the floor with Piastri. It would actually be enough to make me want to watch F1 again! On the contract front, I have no doubts that Piastri signed a Junior Driver Sponsorship agreement, and there would be a minimum driver period to pay Renault/Alpine back for their sponsorship. Hopefully Webber is aware of this - but the guy isnt that smart so not likely...09-08-2022 03:19

Go left of field and grab the 3 time F2 champion Piastri or even Ricciardo. If Merc want to rebuild going into the future these guys would be a great option20-12-2021 23:31
